Patricia Z. Marincic is the new associate vice president for the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ-Meridian Health Science Center. She’ll manage campus operations, academic programs and facilitate community outreach, according to university officials.

Idaho State-Civic Symphony announces Julie Sorensen as interim conductor

POCATELLO – The Idaho State Civic-Symphony has named Julie Sorensen as interim conductor for the 2017-2018 season. Sorensen is currently part of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s music faculty and is the conductor of the symphony’s Youth Orchestra.

Bengal Pharmacy awards two health science scholarships to students from Mackay, Challis

POCATELLO—Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ senior Gabrielle McIntosh, of Mackay, and freshman Cortney Nelson, of Challis, have each received a $500 scholarship from Bengal Pharmacy for the 2017-18 academic year.

POCATELLO – Ronald Garcia, assistant dean for minority affairs at the Stanford University School of Medicine, will travel to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ to speak to Spanish for the Health Professions students and minority students on Aug. 24 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Pond Student Union North Fork Room.
