Idaho State debate opens season with multiple honors

POCATELLO – The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Rupp Debate Society team battled to the top at its season opener tournament. The Bengals earned first and third of the top four spots in the team competition, and two of the top-10 ranks for individual speaker quality.

$20 Million Idaho research award focuses on genetics of rainbow trout, sagebrush

MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho will share a $20 million award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) with Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Boise State University to support research aimed at uncovering and predicting how rainbow trout and sagebrush adjust to changing environments.

POCATELLO — The annual I Love Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ scholarship campaign, which concluded Sept. 13, gives to local students who love Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ. A case in point is Callan ‘Cal’ Norby, a 20-year-old, fifth-generation Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student from Pocatello who is a junior majoring in chemistry with a minor in mathematics.
