POCATELLO – The Alpha Phi Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ will induct Ninth Circuit Court Judge N. Randy Smith at 7 p.m. Friday, May 4, during the Department of Political Science Graduation Celebration at the Rendezvous Center ABC Suites.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's Jillian Christiansen successfully uses dual-enrollment program advantage; graduates with two degrees in two years

POCATELLO – In 2016, Jillian Christiansen graduated with her high school diploma from Renaissance High School, in Meridian, and her Associate of Arts degree from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ. Christiansen is one of many students who have participated in Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s dual-enrollment program at Renaissance High School. She will graduate in May with two bachelor’s degrees, one in political science and one in international studies.

POCATELLO - The overuse of opioids is an area of significant concern for a multitude of organizations and agencies across the state of Idaho, the United States, and even the world. Those in the healthcare professions at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ) are working to be a part of the solution by conducting research, making changes to their curriculum, and encouraging partnerships with other groups who are working toward the same goal: combating the ever growing opioid epidemic.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ graduate Lynette Dixey to celebrate with degree 32 years after started

 POCATELLO – In 1984, Lynette Dixey graduated from Blackfoot High School and packed up her things and moved to Glendive, Montana, to play basketball at Dawson Community College. But Dixey did not graduate with a degree from Dawson, she returned home to give birth to her daughter. This May, 33 years after starting at Dawson Community College, Dixey will walk across the stage at graduation with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.
