MERIDIAN – Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ has renamed its Meridian health science complex in honor of Sam and Aline Skaggs whose decade of financial support has helped grow the Meridian campus and provide advanced health professions education for hundreds of students and working professionals in the Treasure Valley.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ College of Business to begin annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program

POCATELLO ­– Students in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ College of Business accounting programs will once again offer the community and fellow students the opportunity to have their taxes filed for free as part of the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

POCATELLO – It’s all about “using it or losing it” and one participant said he was able to “skate and ski” with his grandsons because of it. The Pocatello Senior Activity Center’s Fit and Fall Proof program celebrated its 10-year anniversary, Tuesday, Jan 16. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s Cindy Seiger, associate professor of physical therapy, was recognized at event because of her involvement with the program.

POCATELLO – One of the world’s leading experts in stream ecology, University of Montana Professor Robert O. Hall, will deliver the free public lecture “Metabolism of many rivers” as part of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ G.W. Minshall Lecture Series Lecture at 4 p.m. Jan. 25 at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.
