$100k Gift Supports Aspiring School Principals in Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Educational Leadership Program

It’s no surprise that full-time teachers aspiring to become school principals face difficulties along the way. Sometimes it means choosing between taking time off work or trying to squeeze in experience before or after the school day. Burnout can become a real concern very quickly. Now, a generous gift is helping Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ aim to change that.

Rachel Guymon, a fourth-grade teacher in the Sugar-Salem School District, was awarded the College of Education Spring 2026 Outstanding Cooperating Teacher award. She is pictured with her Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student, Kylie Clinger.
