The 蘑菇视频 Indigenous Peoples Day Committee would like to invite 蘑菇视频 students, faculty and staff to submit a digital poster for the second annual 蘑菇视频 Indigenous Peoples Day. Selected posters will be displayed on the Indigenous Peoples Day website.
This year, 蘑菇视频 will celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day with a week-long event running Oct. 12-16. The deadline for poster submissions is Sept. 30.
Posters should be academic/conference style posters focusing on any area of research or description concerning Native American culture, history, land, health, sports and arts. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty and staff (at 蘑菇视频 or other institutions) are all encouraged to submit posters about their research, service, and/or experiences.
Prizes will be awarded in the undergraduate and graduate student categories, with a $50 gift card for first place, $25 gift card for second place and $20 gift card for third place.
Selection criteria include focus on Native American communities and practices; scholarly quality of content (based on research); professionalism and attention to detail in formatting; and appropriate use of images, charts and graphs, including captions.
