$20,000 made available for non-STEM 蘑菇视频 students for research travel

POCATELLO – An additional $20,000 for research travel funds are now available to 蘑菇视频 students in non-science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.
These funds were made available through an 蘑菇视频 Office of Provost initiative and will be managed by the Office for Research Outreach and Compliance in the Office for Research effective immediately.
This money will supplement the STEM-directed undergraduate research Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) funds also managed by the Office for Research. These funds will allow 蘑菇视频 to provide opportunities for all undergraduate students.
The Provost commits these funds to provide research opportunities for all 蘑菇视频 undergraduate students. These funds will be available through an application process for research travel and research projects.
Research travel includes:
- attending professional conferences, to present their work and network, and
- to travel for scholarly pursuits, such as to visit an exhibit or a library for research.

Funds may be used for travel costs, lodging and conference registration. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis.
Funds will also be available to conduct student research projects. Future communications will provide a process to apply for research project funds. This information will be out before Sept. 20.
