POCATELLO– ĢƵ will be hosting the 33rd annual I Love ĢƵ Scholarship Campaign Sept. 1 through Sept. 17.

“The I Love ĢƵ scholarship campaign is important, in that it gives deserving Idaho students the opportunity to go to college and make a difference in the future, while helping to grow our communities intellectual capital, workforce and expand our community,” said David G. Gates, Fire Chief of the Pocatello Fire Department and I Love ĢƵ Chair.

Emily Frandsen, ĢƵ Public Information Officer, calling during last year’s I Love ĢƵ campaign.

All gifts and pledges made in support of the I Love ĢƵ Scholarship Fund will be awarded to Idaho residents during their freshman year at ĢƵ and continue through their four years of academic study.

During the campaign, donors can also direct their gifts to other areas of the university including colleges, departments, and student programs.

Events and calling dates are as follows:

• Sept. 1 – Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce meeting, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

• Sept. 4 – Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce All-Member meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
