New faculty members join Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s Division of Health Sciences

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Division of Health Sciences announces new hires this academic year, including Rick Tivis and Elizabeth Morgan at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ-Meridian.

Morgan is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. A nationally certified sign language interpreter, she teaches sign language studies and interpreting courses.

As the assistant director of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s new Idaho Center for Health Research, Tivis assists with all aspects of statistical analysis with expertise in using large data sets. He is also a co-director of the Community Health Screening Program, sponsored by Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ-Meridian, Ada County and other community partners.

John Fenstermaker, clinical associate professor, Family Medicine Residency Program; L. Derek Gerber, clinical assistant professor, Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy; Rachel Smetanka and Talia Sierra, assistant professors, Department of Physician Assistant Studies; Chad Yates, assistant professor, Counseling; Rebecca Hoover, clinical assistant professor, College of Pharmacy; and Robert A. Myers., visiting professor, College of Pharmacy.
