• Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ News Student March through the Arch: Begins at 5 p.m. at Reed Gym and finishes on the Hutchinson Quadrangle near the Swanson Arch. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ President Arthur Vailas, other Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ officials, and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Marching Band will be gathered to welcome new students a day before the fall semester begins on Aug. 27. • Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Fall Semester Begins

• Welcome Back Orange and Black Celebration: Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students will have a chance to win a car and other great prizes, plus enjoy free food, music and a variety of booths and entertainment during the third annual "Welcome Back Orange and Black" from 4 to 7 p.m. in Old Town Pocatello. The prize drawing will be held at 6 p.m. Buses will bring students downtown leaving from Eighth Avenue/Cesar Chavez Way at the bus stop in front of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Student Health Center. • Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Participates in College Colors Day: Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is one of dozens of universities nationwide participating in the designated NCAA/Collegiate Licensing Company's College Colors Day 2012. The celebration will be held on Aug. 31 and it involves participation by national, regional, and online retailers representing more than 10,000 locations—all with the goal of increasing sales of collegiate merchandise.
