ĢƵ-South Africa is topic of Feb. 8 colloquium

The ĢƵ Kasiska College of Health Professions will sponsor a free colloquium “ĢƵ and South Africa: What is the Connection?” from  noon to 12:50 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, at various locations throughout Idaho.

The colloquium will feature David Hachey, Ph.D., clinical associate professor in ĢƵ’s Department of Family Medicine and Physician Assistant Studies. Hachey recently spent four months working with the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa.

The colloquium is designed to educate faculty, students and staff about possible opportunities for future collaboration and the strong relationship between ĢƵ’s Kasiska College of Health Professions and the UCT.

The colloquium is free and will be broadcast at the following locations:

     • Pocatello, ĢƵ, Eli Oboler Library, Room B07

     • Idaho Falls, 1776 Science Center Drive, Room CHE 311

     • ĢƵ Boise Center, 12301 W. Explorer Drive, Suite 102, Room 138
