A Season for Good Business

November 11, 2025

As the holiday season begins, let us reflect on gratitude and generosity. At the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ College of Business, that spirit is brought to life through the Festival of Trees and the College’s new Benny’s Pantry campaign. Both efforts remind us that business has the power to strengthen our community and create lasting impact.

Each year, the Festival of Trees brings together local organizations, businesses, and individuals to make a difference. This year’s event supports seven groups doing incredible work in our community:

  • – Preserves and improves the area’s natural beauty while fostering environmental education.
  • College of Business Student Scholarships – Helps future business leaders reach their academic and professional goals.
  • – Grants wishes that bring hope and joy to children with critical illnesses.
  • – Provides quality healthcare to uninsured and underinsured members of the community.
  • – Funds programs and classroom innovations for local students.
  • – Raises awareness and support for Alzheimer’s care and research.
  • – Advocates for animal welfare through rescue and education.

Each of these organizations represents a different way to give back, ranging from protecting nature and advancing education to supporting health and compassion.

The College of Business is also giving back in a new way this November. Through November 24th, every new Instagram follower on the COB page will result in five dollars being donated to Benny’s Pantry, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s on-campus food pantry supporting students in need. This campaign turns engagement into action, proving that even small efforts can create meaningful change.

Giving back builds stronger communities and stronger leaders. It reminds us that business is not just about profit—it’s about people. Whether through events like the Festival of Trees or simple acts of generosity, we all have the ability to make a difference. This November, the College of Business celebrates the many ways our Bengals are giving back and making the world a little brighter.
